Lab Support Clerk - White Plains, NY - Monday - Friday - 9:00AM-5:30PMUnder direct supervision, the Lab Support Clerk provides general clerical support services. This includes filing of all pathology slides, daily mail distribution and maintenance of the postage machine.
Pay Range: $17.76 – $26.64 / hourSalary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Training provided!
Maintaining an organized filing system for all pathology slides.
Pulls slides as requested by physician for deepers.
Files physicians request forms for deepers/special stains/problem resolutions.
Sends duplicate slides to referring physicians
Pulls requisitions for all departments when requested and returns requisitions to file.
Sorts and delivers interoffice mail daily.
Posts all outgoing mail and maintains postage machine.
Assisting other departments with clerical functions when available including filing requisitions and organizing filing cabinets.
Maintains QA reviews of outside path reports and files with corresponding requisition.
Returns slides to file when received back from outside facilities & documents the return in the computer system.
Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager, Director or Physicians.
