He was a 1980 graduate of West Springfield High School, and was a motorcycle and snowmobile enthusiast.

Steven leaves his mother, Patricia A. (Antonyk) Edwards and stepfather James F. Edwards of Chicopee. His father, Albert "Mac" Bonavita, died in 1990. He leaves a son, Steven Mac Bonavita; and daughter, Stephanie A.

Bonavita, both of South Hadley; two sisters, Anna M. Tardif of Belchertown and Patricia A. Capsolas of CT; two step-brothers, Jason Edwards of Westfield and James Edwards of Chicopee; and four nephews, Nicholas, Joseph, Dominic Tardif, and Vincent Nosaluk. C. Leroy J. Rochford 1906 2002 SPRINGFIELD Leroy J. Rochford, 95, formerly of 310 Stafford died Monday. Born in Springfield, he was lifelong resident.

He was born in Millis, MA and lived most of his life in Chicopee. He was an electrician the Savage Arms Company for over 37 years, and retired 1983 as an electrician from the National Blank Book Co. after working there for 10 years. He was a former First Lt. on the Chicopee Auxiliary Police Department.

He was also a former member of the American Legion Post 352. He was a WWII Marine veteran and received a Purple Heart in the Battle at Sapian. He was the husband of the late Cecile (Plouf) Ackley who died in January of 1994. He leaves a daughter, Margaret Deitz and her husband Red of Chicopee; a daughter, Jeanne Robitaille and her husband Rene of Chicopee; two brothers, Edward Ackley Chicopee and Calvin Ackley of West Springfield. He leaves his sister, Thelma Lecuyer of Westfield.

He also leaves 3 granddaughters and their husbands, Jill and Ken Senecal of Chicopee, Valarie and Jeffery Patrick of Chicopee, and Amy and Ken Boyd of Chicopee. He also leaves 2 grandsons, John and Steven McClure of Springfield; and he was best friend fo 7 great great-grandchildren. He also leaves several nieces and nepliews. Youmell 1919 2002 SPRINGFIELD Margaret C. (Moriarty) Youmell, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2002 in East Longmeadow. She was born and raised in West Springfield and graduated from Immaculate Conception Grammar School in West Springfield, and later a graduate of Cathedral High School. Margaret was a nurse's assistant for twenty years for the former Geri-Care Nursing Home of Springfield. She was a parishioner of St.

Michael's Cathedral. She was predeceased by her husband, John Youmell; and her son, the late Thomas J. Youmell, in 1999. She is survived by two sons, John J. Youmell of East Longmeadow, James M.

Youmell of Hawley; four daughters, Geraldine Johnston of of Sammamish, Washington, Maryellen Finn Brimfield, Margaret Gelinas of East Longmeadow, Annemarie Costella of East Longmeadow: one brother, James Moriarty of Springfield; five sisters, Katherine O'Neil of Springfield, Ellen Brennan of Springfield, Susan Provost of Ludlow, Loretta Sullivan of Florida, Pat Marotte of West Springfield. Loving grandmother of 19 and great -grandmother of 7. Margaret was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Moriarty; and one sister, Mary O'Neil. Other obituaries on Page B6 SPRINGFIELD Philip A. Rousseau, 83, of 405 Dwight died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2002 in a local nursing home. Born in Chicopee, Philip lived in Springfield most of his life, serving in the C.C.C. (Civil Conservation Corp.) as a Surveyor in the early 1940s.

He later worked as an industrial engineer with Pratt Whitney in East Hartford for 30 years, retiring in 1977 as a supervisor of a group of industrial engineers. Philip is survived by his wife, Louise (Glines) Rousseau of Springfield; his two sons, Robert J. of Singapore and East Hartford, and Ralph I. 1911 2002 SOMERS, Ct. Ansel B. Miller, 91, formerly of Bilton Somers, Sunday at the Parkway Pavillion Nursing Home in Enfield. He was born in East Longmeadow, attended local schools, graduating from the former Trade High School in Springfield. Mr.

Miller was a driver for Belcher Transport and also farmed at his Somers home. He was a member of the East Longmeadow United Methodist Church, where he served on many committees, including the Property Committee. He was also a member of the Enfield Grange and served as President of the Billings Hill Cemetery Association of East Longmeadow. He is survived by his wife, Lottie (Warner) Miller; two sons, A. Bruce, Jr.

and his wife Shirley H. of Brimfield and Orlando, and Milo M. and his wife Eileen HI. of Somers and Orlando, a daughter-in-law, Joyce Miller of Somers; two brothers, David H. and his wife Ann of Lisbon, and Roy G.

of Somers, five grandchildren and three great -grandchildren. 'The funeral will be at the East Longmeadow United Methodist Church, 215 Somers Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Contributions may be made to the Church Grounds Maintenance Fund. 733-2129 Frank E. Perlak 1923 2002 CHICOPEE Frank E. Perlak, 79, of Chateaugay a retired forklift operator for the former Moore Drop Forge Co. (now Easco), died Monday at Willimansett Nursing Home.

He also was employed by the former H.L. Handy Co. and UniRoyal. He was born on October 6, 1923 in Chicopee and was a lifelong resident. Frank was the son of the late Joseph and Zofia Perlak.

He was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr, a 1941 graduate of Chicopee High School, and a Marine veteran of World War II, serving in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He is predeceased by his wife, the former Sophie Cebula, who died in 2000. Frank is survived by three sons, Edward and Francis of Chicopee, and Joseph of Springfield; a daughter, Susan Scott of Chicopee; a brother, Edward Perlak of Ludlow; two sisters, Mary Urdzela of Chicopee and Catherine Klaus, both of Chicopee; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m.

Born October 15, 19297n Monson, MA, she was the daughter of the late Willis Gladys (Partelo) Laviolette. Shirley das raised in Monson and graduated from Monson High School. She has lived in Palmer for many years.

She was the co-owner of Al's Cycle Shop in Palmer since 1954, a retail center for motorcycles and: 4 wheelers. Her husband, Albert'. Laviolette, predeceased her in 2001. She is survived by 4 children, Norman H. of W.

Litera 1926 2002 INDIAN ORCHARD Wanda Sophie Litera, 75, of 101 Enfield Street, a wonderful mother and loving grandmother, died Monday at home. Born in Thompsonville, the daughter of Sophie (Delekta) Klimek, she was an Indian Orchard resident for the past 48 years. Wanda was a retired bookkeeper for the Dow Jones Company of Chicopee and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Wanda was the widow of Louis J. Litera who died March 24, 1964.

She leaves her son, Louis J. Litera Jr. and his wife Marianthy Litera of Wilbraham; a brother, Joseph Klimek of Enfield; a sister, Irene Perry of Bath, PA; and 2 Allison W. grandchildren, Litera of Andrea Wilbra- HI. ham; and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Matthew Klimek; and two sisters, Amelia Kareski and Mary Bryla. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Nowak Funeral Home 15 Ludlow Avenue, Indian Orchard (at the Ludlow Bridge), followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Tylunas Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. Stanley F. Wajdula 1924 2002 SPRINGFIELD Stanley F. Wajdula, 78, of Springfield, a retired tool maker for the Star Gauge Company of Springfield, died Monday at home. Ile retired in 1989.

Stanley was born on May 28, 1924 in Springfield, and has lived here all life. He was the son of the late Joseph and Karolina (Socha) Wajdula. Ie was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, attended the former Springfield Trade School, and was a member of the Polish American Veteran's Club of Wilbraham. Stanley served in the U.S. Navy during World War Il and was stationed in the Pacific.

When he retired, Stanley enjoyed working outdoors, horse and dog racing, Polish music, summers in Rhode Island, and delighted in spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred (Mihaliak) Wajdula; his two devoted children and their spouses, Dr. Joseph and Paula Wajdula of Devon, PA, and Stephen and Carol Dougal of Wilbraham. Ie is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren, Sarah, Amy, and Eric; and several nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his brother, John Wajdula.

Stanley will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and remembered for his acts of kindness and commitment to family. The funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Nowak Funeral Home, 15 Ludlow Avenue, Indian Orchard, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the church at 9 a.m. The burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Mrs. Glogowski was the last to be born into a large, loving Simonich family of ten children in Chicopee, MA.

She attended Holy Name Catholic School, met her husband as a teenager, and was married for 164 years. Her husband, Stanky Glogowski, survives Alice and lives in Etowah, N.C. The couple raised three children, Mary C. Lavato of Etowah, N.C., Richard Glogowski of Fawn Grove, PA, Donald Glogowski, now deceased, formerly of Williamstown, MA. Mrs.

Glogowski has eight grandchildren, Stanley Gorman, Kelly Gorman, now deceased, Andrea Lavato, Adam Glogowski, Amy Lizana, Stephanie Pouliot, Joel Glogowski, and Math6w Glogowski. There are seven greatgrandchildren and the list is 10- pected to grow, Shaun Ashley Glogowski, Garon Lizana, Davis Lizana, Nicholas Lizana, Tyler Gorman, Lillian. Gorman, and Kaleb Lavato. lived a good life surrounded by family, friends and'a loving husband. Her generous, itive, happy nature will be missed by many, but we feel strongly that she has passed many of those "happy genes" onto her children, grand-children, and greatgrandchildren.

There will be a private burial service at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. The family invites everyone to a memorial service 'offered at St. John The Evangelist Church, 823 Main St. in Agawam, MA at 10:00 a.m.

on Saturday 23, November. Following the service, all friends and family are invited to The Collegian Court, 89 Park St. in Chicopee, MA fora "Polish Brunch" and time to celebrate Alice's life. It is the wish of the family of Alice D. Glogowski that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Seasons Hendersonville, Hospice, N.C.
