Cyclo Community Pantries are in action 🇰🇭The purpose of the Cyclo Community Pantries is as simple as making kindness accessible for everyone in the community. Big or small, everyone can donate inside the pantry for the ones in need. No kindness is wasted, and your generosity has no boundaries. If you see the cyclo pantries around the city, and hopefully to expand to provinces in the near future, do drop off your donation at the respective areas and time below. Hope everyone is having a great day head. #local4local #cyclopantry

Congratulations to the 20th Anniversary of Cambodian Children’s Fund in transforming lives of Cambdoian children at the dumpsite of Steung Meanchey village. I am super grateful to be a small part of this incredible milestone through the monetary donation of Local4Local during the peak of COVID-19 in 2021 as well as the recent #ApsaraGranny project with my incredible friends, Ken and Raphael. I have always been a great admirer of the work of Scott Neeson and the team behind CCF. What a journey it has been! #local4local #apsaragranny #cambodia

From Scavenger Granny to Apsara Granny ⭐️📸 I am sharing one of my proudest, and most meaningful campaign that was launched this week for International Mother's Day called the"Apsara Granny", a photography project in partnership with Cambodian Children Fund, with the support of my two great friends, Ken Bo and Raphaël Pech.👵🏻 More than a photography campaign, Apsara Granny is an embodiment of "Philantrophy with Diginity" as our core value; uplifting the stories of both resilient grannies, Granny Mao and Granny Raksa, who are 104 years old and 79 years old respectively. Both are Khmer Rouge survivors and are former scavengers at Steung Meanchey dumpsite.🟢 Good News: Thanks to the huge support from the virality of the campaign with over 1M+ views and 14K+ shares on Facebook in less than 24 hours, we have a lifetime opportunity to exhibit the photos on the 20th Anniversary of Cambodian Children Fund (CCF) later this month. All proceeds raised wilsupport 90+ grannies in the Granny Program of CCF. 👉🏻 The #ApsaraGranny campaign is one part of the #FeeltheWarmth creative-led initiative, with the mission of highlighting stories of Cambodia beyond stones and skulls through 3Ps: People, Place and Plate. If you like to make a donation the Granny program at CCF, you can go to feelthewarmth.org/donate.📌 Read about us: https://lnkd.in/eY7risv3Video by Cambodian Children’s Fund. #feelthewarmth #apsaragranny #cambodia

💡 Its a very random idea, but hear me out…🖍️ Context: I was at a class presentation when given a topic to present on topic of “Revival of Children Brand” and one of the team chose the revivial of the Redbox company as a choice. Prior to Netflix, Redbox is a movie rental company that has automated kiosks at gas stations or retail shops for people to rent or buy CD or DVD. 🔴 Problem: However, due to the rise of digital platform and online-streaming company, Redbox has seen a huge decrease of revenue year by year. As another perspective, when buying tickets to shows and concerts, there is a “service fee” that ticketing platform like Ticketmaster charges additional fee on your ticket as compared to buying in-person. Box offices for the venue can be far, and people may be hesitant to buy in person when they can buy directly from the app despite the fee. For example, instead of $30 for a regular concert, it will be ~$35 for the fee with tax. 🟢 Solution: What if Redbox switches its business model to be like TicketMaster? What if it becomes a ticketing platform for nationwide box offices of shows and concerts? Considering there is over 34,000 Redbox’s kiosks in the United States, as of 2023, people can buy the tickets at these kiosks without paying the additional fee. I remember getting concert ticket at the Armory’s box office in downtown Minnesota even if the city was far from my house and I do not want to buy from the app. Now that the Ticketmaster’s kiosk is available, what if we could buy at your neaby kiosks to go to see your favourite shows.👇🏻 I am curious to see what’s your thoughts?

💡It’s another random idea, but hear me out…🖍️ Context: I was in class when the professor told my friends and I to brainstorm ideas on a case study using a business strategy framework.🔴 Problem: We forgot to print out the business framework to brainstorm, even if we does, the A4-sized paper would not be ideal for 4 of us to write on the same piece of paper. We decided to draw ourselves using the box tools on Google docs, since it does not have any pre-existing template for this framework. On top of that, the “Groupthink bias” would affect this brainstorming session considering some of us, including myself, thinks better when we are giving an isolated time to write down our ideas at that time. 🟢 Solution: Frankly, there are many business strategy frameworks, i.e. the renowed Michael Porter’s 5 Forces, BCG Matrix, Ansoff Matrix, Business Model Canvas, Value Model Canvas and more, as tools for us to use. Integrated with your email, what if, there is a cloud-based, interactive digital platform with these frameworks to allow students to collaborate with their peers on this framework. Imagine writting on post notes on this digital giant, collaborative whiteboard that this platform can “democratize strategy”, and once finished, students can download this framework afterward. Let’s called this platform, IrohAI. Even small businesses would benefit from this business strategy framework, and my favourite one is the Blue Ocean Strategy.👇🏻 I’m curious to see whats your thoughts?

💡 Its a random idea, but hear me out… 🖍️ Context: I was at a first-year student seminar in my school, where students were sharing their first-time experience when navigating campus resources, US visa-related information, and extracurricular activities in their school. So, an idea just sparked…🔴 Problem: Over 90% of the students at the workshop had difficult time navigating school resources online. There is an overwhelming pages for new-incoming students that is not easy to access due to technological familiarity, outdated infos and more. This is primarily a issue of unstructured communication, where some students get information from social media, campus website, and others receive information from a peer-to-peer group like Discord or WeChat. Students feel a lack of support, lonely, and nervous being in a new country by themselves as I, too, is an international student.🟢 Solution: Inspired by ChatGPT, what if universities in general, particularly in the US, have a personalized 24/7 Chatbot for students, international and domestic students, directly on the website, that acts as a “one-stop center” for students to write their questions, and it quickly populated the answers based on the universities’ current resources only. EduBot centralizes resources for new students at ease through the school’s main website. Even more unique, this AI university-centric chatbots could be named after the school’s mascot, i.e. BearsBot. This way, new students can navigate the school’s website conveniently without feeling overwhelmed without direct advisor. 👇🏻 I’m curious to see what’s your thoughts? #chatbot #idea
